Turns out some of my blood got on the photos and kind of wrecked them. I developed some that i wanted to use but they didn't come out perfect. The good thing is that no normal person notices- my mom thought they were great- but they had dust and stuff on them that i couldnt fix, also a blood smudge that was only detectable to myself. Anyway, my wounds from the developing fiasco are healing quite nicely. I visited my grandmother the other day with my brother and was kicking myself for not bringing the camera. She couldnt stop laughing, it was great.
I'm working at my summer job over break, I've been here for about 4 years now. I just right this second got a cool idea... To photograph people, and then photograph their workspace, sort of as a reflection of them..... I'm patting myself on my back now.
ok i have a new obsession with the NBA so i'm going to go look up some players.....
goodbyeeee
happy new year!! (soon)

ouch
when i was developing my film the other day in that black bag thing i kinda thought i hurt my finger but just dismissed it. So, after im finished with the whole rolling the film around the spool thing i pull my hands out and they are all bloody! ew gross. Apparently i cut up most of my fingers trying to get the stupid film out of the container thing. At least my negatives came out good!

procrastinating..... so much work to do this week it's unreal.
I went home Saturday and took pictures of my mother, some pictures of myself, and pictures of both of us together. I didn't make it back to the nursing home to see my grandmother but I think I can work with what I've got as far as photographs of her.
Had a bread bowl at panera tonight... so delicious.

why is it that sometimes the most unlikely pictures come out so amazing? I find that some of the pictures I take that I'm not really sure of at the time are the ones that I end up liking the most.
I took some photos of the apartment we stayed at in new york, it was really gorgeous. I hope they came out because it was really low lighting. I also bought 2 disposable cameras and used a total of about 2 photos on one of them... good planning joanna.
It's a stressful time of year, so much to do so little time. I wish I were as motivated as I used to be, but somewhere along the way I lost that. That is of course in terms of papers and reading for class, somehow sleep seems so much more important than reading chapter 13 which I'll never understand anyway. My dreams, that's another story. I could write novels with my dreams. I remember every detail and they are so vivid and strange sometimes. Wouldnt it be interesting to recreate a photo with an image from one of my dreams. Impossible though, the other night I had this dream that I had 3 haunted items and i had to sell them to a pawn shop. When I got there, the pawn shop owner asked me to write 2,000 words about the haunted items i was selling. Afterwards I was lost and had to stay at this abandoned house that was filled with bullfrogs.
I guess I can write about that here since everyone hates hearing people's dreams anyway haha my brother always says its the most boring thing everr and I dont blame them because I don't really like listening to other people's dreams either! haha oh well c'est la vie.
